President’s Message
Dear Members,
As 2024 draws to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on the year we’ve shared. At CCFCU, our commitment to serving you—our valued members—has been our guiding light throughout the year.
Financially 2024 will be a strong year for Cumberland County FCU. Asset and loan growth will be approximately 5%, both very healthy numbers. We paid over $10.5 million in dividends to members, the largest in our history. Return on assets for 2024 is a healthy 75bps, increasing CCFCU’s capital by $3.3 million. Our capital will end the year at a well-capitalized level of 9.30%.
Our credit union exists because of you, and your trust drives everything we do. As we step into the new year, we reaffirm our dedication to helping you achieve your financial dreams while building a brighter future for all.
We thank you for your business. From all of us here at CCFCU, we wish you and your loved ones a prosperous New Year.
Scott Harriman, President & CEO
Why You Should Get Your Auto Loan with a Credit Union
When it comes to financing an auto loan, choosing a credit union offers several advantages over traditional banks or online lenders. Credit unions, being member-owned, prioritize your needs, which often results in more favorable loan terms and better customer service.
One of the biggest benefits is we usually have lower interest rates. Credit unions typically offer more competitive rates than banks because we operate on a not-for-profit basis and pass savings back to you. This can save you money over the life of the loan, reducing your monthly payments or allowing you to pay off the loan faster.
In addition to better rates, credit unions often offer more flexible loan terms. Whether you’re looking for a longer repayment period or a custom payment schedule, credit unions are more likely to work with you to find a solution that fits your budget. Another advantage is the personalized service. We focus on building relationships with our members, meaning you’ll likely receive more attention and guidance throughout the loan process.
