Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open to individuals residing in the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. You must be 21 years of age or older as of the date of entry in order to enter. Offer void where prohibited.
Duration of Sweepstakes: The Sweepstakes begins at 12 A.M. EST on September 1, 2024, and ends at 5 P.M. EST on September 30, 2024.
Two Methods of Entry: No purchase or contribution is required to participate in the Sweepstakes. There are two methods of entry. (1) Individuals who make a contribution to Maine Credit Union’s Campaign to End Hunger between the dates listed in the Duration of the Sweepstakes above by visiting one of our branches, calling, mailing, or emailing us at the locations listed on our website are automatically entered in the Sweepstakes; (2) Any individual may enter the Sweepstakes by mailing a written request entitled “ENTRY TO SWEEPSTAKES” with the entrant’s name, telephone number, physical address, and e-mail address to Cumberland County Federal Credit Union, 101 Gray Rd, Falmouth, ME 04105. Multiple entries are permitted.
All Sweepstakes entries become the property of Cumberland County Federal Credit Union. Entries will not be returned. Cumberland County Federal Credit Union is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, corrupted, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, or not otherwise correctly received due to technical, administrative, or human error, including, but not limited to, any software, hardware, computer or networking issues, or any other circumstances – technical or otherwise – beyond Cumberland County Federal Credit Union’s control. At its sole discretion, Cumberland County Federal Credit Union reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this Sweepstakes if it appears that the integrity, security, or administration of any process may be called into question.
Selection of Winners: One random drawing for prizes among all entries not yet drawn will occur for each day of the month of September 2024. Sweepstakes prize winners will be notified by phone. The prize winners will be notified at least once per business day for five (5) days beginning on the day the entry is drawn and will have seven (7) days to respond to the prize notice. If the prize winner does not respond within seven (7) days from the initial notification, Cumberland County Federal Credit Union will randomly draw a new prize winner from the remaining entries, and the first prize winner will be voided. The new prize winner shall be subject to the same rules. The prize winners who notify Cumberland County Federal Credit Union within the required time period and accept the prize will be sent a W-9 form as applicable for the prize value.
Prize Restrictions: All taxes imposed as a result of a prize and the reporting consequence thereof are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
Limitation of Liability: All prize winners agree that Cumberland County Federal Credit Union and its officers, directors, employees and agents, successors, and assigns shall have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize. Cumberland County Federal Credit Union makes no warranties – either express or implied – regarding a particular prize.
